Chardonnay Valdadige DOC "Le Fratte"

Originally from France, specifically from Burgundy, it is not known exactly when it arrived in Italy. It was confused with the Pinot Blanc, which, moreover, was distinguished with the Pinot Yellow name.

Vinification

after a gentle destemming, followed by a short cold maceration of the grapes in stainless steel press and in a closed environment. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel thermo-conditioned tanks

Ageing

at the end of fermentation the wine is kept in contact with the yeasts, in stainless steel containers for about six months

Colour

straw yellow

Scent

wide and complex with hints of banana, peach and tropical fruit

Taste

rich, intense and persistent, with a good aroma and a balanced acidity

Food pairings

thanks to its elegance lends itself well to a variety of combinations. Excellent as an aperitif, with pasta, with dishes made with white meat and fish
