Gewürztraminer Trentino DOC


The origins of this vineyard are uncertain. Some believe that they are in Alsace, others in the Termeno (Bolzano) others in Wurttemberg, and finally in the Rhine Valley. The name Traminer - Termeno in Italian - appears for the first time in 1349 in the "Book of Nature" Konrad Megenberg, Regenburg dean of the cathedral, ancient city of Franconia in Germany.

Harvesting method: hand harvest

Vinification: after a gentle destemming, followed by a short cold maceration at a temperature of 15 ° C. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks

Affinamento: duly fermented important is the permanence of wine for about six months on the lees in stainless steel containers

Colour: straw yellow

Scent: intense, aromatic, fruity, floral and vegetal, with notes of fruit with yellow flesh, exotic fruits, rose and acacia flowers and some memory of herbs

Taste: wine great balance based on fresh and savory notes, supported by a great softness, excellent structure and important aromatic persistence, in which they recognize almond nuances

Food pairings: Excellent as an aperitif is accompanied by shellfish of all kinds, white meat and cooked cheeses
